Charlie is your INDEPENDENT and DEDICATED voice just as he was when he was Chairman of the Board in four three-year terms. Combined with his numerous responsibilities that favorably impact people’s lives, he lives the Rotary saying, “Service above Self” as a leader of our community. Fairhaven residents need to be listened to and respected for their opinions, that’s why Charlie Murphy is the perfect person to fulfill those needs.
In order to be an effective member of the select board, you have to be a good listener. That starts with returning phone calls. When you’re talking directly with a member of the community, you get the opportunity to listen to their concerns. If I miss a phone call, I return as soon as I can. I want to know the quality of life issues that are affecting everyone. The best way to find out what the issues are is to go directly to the source. And that source is the people.

Charlie has always loved Fairhaven. He will be running for one of the three seats with the new increase to five Select Board members for the Monday, April 4 election. These are exciting and changing times for our great Town. Charlie will work hard, as he did in the past. Don’t forget to vote April 4, 2022. Every vote matters!
People ask me why I want to return to public service. The answer is simple. Fairhaven is a beautiful town with an incredible community. Fairhaven residents are proud of our town, and they should be. We need to strive to continue that trend, and to make it a more amazing community for not only all of our residents, but also for everyone who visits our home town. I want to return to public service to lead Fairhaven in exactly that direction.
